Design, engineering, and construction of two (2) concrete silos storing ash and one (1) concrete chimney.

Hoffmann Powering North Carolina with Strength and Innovation

The project included the design, engineering, and construction of two 30’ diameter x 104’ high concrete ash storage silos—featuring truck drive-thru access, elevated storage and mechanical floors, and full-height access via both a caged ladder and spiral stairway.

Additionally, Hoffmann built a towering 385’ x 23’ concrete chimney with a 6’ 6” acid-resistant brick liner, complete with test platforms, maintenance lighting, a personnel elevator, and a full-height ladder. Utilizing advanced jumpform techniques, Hoffmann ensured durability, efficiency, and safety—proving once again why they are a trusted name in industrial concrete structures.
