SLIPFORM SUPERINTENDENT

Description:
Plans, organizes, coordinates all aspects of work performed on job site. Continuously monitor crew members and ensure safety standards are followed. Must have excellent communication skills to work with clients, subcontractors and other site superintendents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Control productivity and labor costs to remain within budget.
  • Plan work schedule for crew and organize jobsite.
  • Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
  • Assure that proper safety standards are followed by all crew members.
  • Monitor construction activities.

Successful candidates must:

Have at least 5 years slipform construction management experience.
Perform a variety of duties.
Work within standards of accuracy.
Have the ability to read diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Operate a forklift, skid steer, rig equipment, and boom-truck.

Travel is required.

SAFETY SUPERVISOR

Description:
Develop and oversee all aspects of the company safety program. Conduct investigations of accidents and provide corrective actions and procedures. Visit job sites and coordinate company safety program with customer program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the organization in creating a work environment that is safe and healthy that aligns with company safety policies, programs and reflects Federal and State regulations.
  • Investigate accidents / incidents and report fully.
  • Create and conduct safety training for employees and contractors.
  • Perform job analyses and develop safe work procedures.
  • Monitor construction activities.

Successful candidates must:

Possess a Bachelor degree in Occupational Health and Safety or have equivalent experience in occupational and health preferably in the construction industry.

Some travel is required.

EXPERIENCED WELDERS/FABRICATORS

Description:
Lays out, fits and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms according to a pre-designed model or blueprint.

Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding operations. Uses a variety of metal working tools and equipment to machine or fabricate component parts. Lays out positions, aligns and fits component parts together. Components may be fitted together by means of a weld, clamps, bolts, or rivets. may also repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. measures finished products for accuracy and checks for any possible structural defects in the welds or within the metal itself.

Requirements:
Should be able to work with hands and weld skillfully; accurately read blueprints; visualize three dimensional figures from looking at separate one dimensional drawings; operate a variety of metal working tools such as: drill press, mill, thermal cutter, oxygen/acetylene torch, shear, press brake, etc.; apply knowledge of metallurgy and geometry; accurately use a variety of measuring devices.

CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS

Description:
Assist skilled craft workers, performing assigned duties without the need for direct supervision.

May perform a variety of functions such as: Measuring distances from grade stakes, drive grade stakes and stretches tight line. Bolts, nails, aligns, and blocks up under forms. Signals operators of construction equipment to aid in grading and hoisting operations. Fine grades dirt or sand to specifications using a pick and shovel. Performs variety of tasks.

Requirements:
Follow specific directions
Perform a variety of duties that may often change.
Work within standards of accuracy.
Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure.
Evaluate information using measurable standards.
Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
Carry tools and equipment.

CRANE OPERATOR

Description:
Directly responsible for work assigned to the plant services crew. Reports directly to the plant services/design build construction manager. Should have supervisory experience. Well rounded in welding and mechanical applications. Job description will be available at interview.

Requirements:
Minimum 1 Year Experience with Hydraulic and Lattice Boom Cranes.
CDL preferred

Pre-Employment Drug Testing
